Roles Available:

We will have Engineering opportunities within both our SP Energy Networks and Renewables businesses at the following locations.

SP Energy Networks - Central & Southern Scotland or North West England (Merseyside / Wirral / Cheshire / North & Mid Wales)

Renewables - Glasgow City Centre / Central London


  • Please ensure you have the required Honours Degree (or equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2.  Please refer to the Graduate pages on our careers website for more details.
  • Acceptable degrees disciplines include the following:
  • Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Telecoms, Energy
  • Naval Architects, Marine, Civil, Structural
  • Town Planning, Environmental Science Geophysics, Geology, Geotechnical, Meteorological Science
  • Climate Change & International Development, Sustainable Energy Futures

Selection Process: 

  • Online Testing - If you’re CV meets these criteria you will be asked to complete online G+ test which will measure three types of ability: Numerical, Deductive and Inductive.
  • Video Interview - If you pass the online testing you will then be asked to undergo a video interview. If you are successful at this stage, you will be asked to attend our assessment event.
  • Assessment Event - Successful applicants will be invited to a one-day assessment centre to be held between December 2019 / January 2020, which will include a presentation, competency based interview and a group exercise.
