About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic coordinator to administer and coordinate a portfolio of education PD services and programmes, ensuring the highest level of professional customer service from customer enquiry, through to booking, delivery, post-delivery follow-up and financial monitoring/tracking, whilst providing general administrative support to our managers responsible for the content and design of our services and programmes.

Working as part of the PD and Events team you will: liaise with leading educational experts throughout the UK, in order to provide high-quality services to our schools and educational establishments, as part of our commercial professional development service and educational programmes, which are core to our sales and marketing strategy, thereby supporting the sales and effective use of our resources.

About you

The ideal candidate needs to have strong administrative and interpersonal skills enabling them to effectively coordinate PD services and to develop positive relationships with all stakeholders including Independent Experts, teachers and senior leaders and our internal customers such as our Sales Consultants and Education Consultants.

You will be able to effectively prioritise workflow to ensure excellence in delivery of our services. You should also be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and be able to exemplify experience of financial monitoring and tracking against budgets.

The successful candidate should present the following skills and/ or experience:

  • Understanding of professional development or event management services
  • Experience of educational sale/ sales, and ideally telephone sales demonstrating a confident phone manner
  • Confident in financial management and reporting including budget tracking and invoicing
  • Experience of some or all of the following: SAP, Themis, Spirit (and Spirit reporting portal), EDMS, or exemplify the willingness to learn new systems.
  • IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, and HTML editing
  • Able to prioritise workload to ensure optimum delivery and customer service
  • A good team player who can also work confidently independently
  • Excellent administrative and organisation skills, good spoken and written English
  • Experience of dealing with customers, solid negotiation skills and excellent telephone manner

Salary in the region of £23,000 depending on skills and experience
