About the role

This is a field based role visiting schools in, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Clackmannanshire, Dundee City, Falkirk, Fife, Moray, Perth and Kinross and Stirling.

We are looking to recruit a Primary Educational Sales Consultant to sell our highly regarded and successful range of publishing into Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. You will seek out sales leads by visiting schools and work collaboratively with teachers and other education professionals within the LA in order to gain a thorough understanding of current teaching practices. You will strive towards building a thriving partnership with your customers based on trust and offer them practical solutions through our range of products, resources and training  

This role is a fixed term, term-time role until the end of March 2018.


About you

Ideally based in the region of Perth or Dundee with easy access to the territory. You will need to demonstrate that you are driven, proactive, highly motivated, and able to work on your own initiative. You will have proven consultative sales, presentation, and networking skills, and be computer literate. Given the length of contract, the ideal candidate will have worked in or had experience of the Scottish Educational market. Experience with CRM system or equivalent would be an advantage.

Extensive travel around the region is required.


Salary
Competitive salary depending on skills and experience, plus a sales car.
