Nottingham City Homes are looking for a Void Property Manager to join their team.

Based at: Harvey Road, Bilborough, Nottingham. NG8 3BB

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £37,890 to £40,876 per annum

Are you currently a Quantity Surveyor, Site Manager or Contracts Manager, that wants a new challenge? Then this exciting opportunity at Nottingham City Homes might be the one for you! We are currently seeking a committed and dynamic Voids Property Manager to join our team to help deliver outstanding customer services to our tenants. This role will require you to manage your own schedule of Void properties for the entire Voids cycle. You will be responsible for the management and development of your delivery team, surveying and diagnosing the required property repairs to ensure we deliver a high-quality service to our customers.  

The Void Property Manager will be required to be a regular, active presence on site advising trade colleagues and sub-contractors on solutions in relation to solving complex and technical matters and as such, knowledge and experience of site operations and site health and safety will be essential to this role.

One of the key responsibilities of this role is to successfully co-ordinate all void maintenance, repairs and investment programme of works within agreed performance targets, to budget and within forecasted timescales – therefore, you will be supported to deal with trade management on site so that the workforce are motivated and directed so as to maintain output and adhere to standards and targets, while accurately and regularly reporting on the activities and daily programme.   

This role will require you to work closely with other internal teams, including the Lettings and Voids administration functions, as well third party/sub-contractor organisations; therefore, a knowledge of the Voids Lettable Standard would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a multi-disciplined team of craft workers, with strong communication skills – this will allow you to influence and achieve satisfactory outcomes for the projects and department.   

The Voids Team are currently experiencing high workload volumes and as such, the successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, willing to work in a fast paced environment and have a passion for delivering outstanding services.
