37 hours per week based in Nottingham 


Are you ready to help our tenants get the most out of their homes?  

Nottingham City Homes are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for our Commercial and Contract Services team on a permanent basis. The site manager will be required to visit multiple properties ensuring the quality installation and timely completion of kitchens and bathrooms, as well as supervising and controlling all Sub contractors/Direct In-House labour/material & plant.

The site manager will provide clear direction to the onsite construction team regarding responsibilities and targets while regularly reporting on the on-site activities and daily programme. You will work to ensure that the onsite workforce are motivated and directed in order to maintain output and adhere to project standards.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need:  

  • Extensive site management experience and knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years’ Experience of managing housing projects and substantial budgets  
  • Understanding and implementing cost saving strategies
  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues, customers, and partners to influence and achieve organisational outcomes
  • Good understanding of the statutory and regulatory procedures and performance requirements in house building  
  • Ability to promote innovation around project delivery  
  • Be able to quickly adapt your approach to changing circumstances  
  • Full SMSTS HNC/HND in construction or equivalent or have proven industry experience.
