Nottingham City Homes manages more than 27,000 homes across the city on behalf of Nottingham City Council. Our vision is to ‘create homes and places where people want to live’.

We are looking for 3 Void Cleansing operatives to join the property services team to carry out the necessary Clearance, Storage and Cleaning function across NCH void properties. You will be responsible for both the clearance and cleaning of domestic properties and associated external areas, in accordance within set NCH procedures and policies.

You will play a key role supporting our teams in the delivery of preparing void properties ready for any refurbishment. You will be required to undertake general clearance and removal of bulk refuse furniture and other associated items from housing stock and transporting to a designated disposal or storage area.

The successful candidates will be required to undertake grounds maintenance duties as directed by the Void Cleansing Manager, including the removal of graffiti, garden clearance and maintenance. You will also be required for using use of petrol-powered equipment.

You will also need to demonstrate an organised yet flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines. A full UK driving licence is essential and some knowledge of health & safety at work would be beneficial.
