We are currently looking to appoint 3 Repairs Service Managers to our Construction, Repairs and Maintenance division, who have strong management experience within the building and construction industry, either within the public or private sector. Play your part in our team, and you’ll be working right at the heart of our business driving the improvements in all areas of our service, with the knowledge that you’re making a difference to people’s lives.

The Repairs Service Manager role offers enormous variety, scope and responsibility for the right person and holds a key operational management position within an established team. As a professional in your field, ideally from an electrical background, you’ll have management experience in a similar role that can be applied to our diverse team of multi trade colleagues who provide building, repairs/maintenance, gas and electrical services and general construction activity. Experience of new build projects would also be an advantage, although not essential.

This is a challenging role, in an evolving business, so your desire to lead, improve productivity and continuously improve our service to provide our customers strong customer satisfaction results to build on what has already achieved, is essential. We will also need to utilise your strong influencing skills and inspiring people through exemplary leadership will be crucial, as will the tenacity needed to drive change and challenge established thinking.

You will also adhere to our value for money principles, in a time we’re evolving to take on the new challenges. If you are successful in securing this role, you will be expected to work to deliver change and challenge your teams to create real and sustained business growth.

To be successful you will hold a professional qualification, i.e. HNC / D or have equivalent work experience. In exchange, you can expect a rewarding professional career within a very people focused business environment.   If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit a persuasive covering letter and CV demonstrating your suitability for this role.
