Women in Construction Officer

£25,951 to £27,668 per annum

37 Hours per week

Temporary until 31 March 2018

Can you help our workforce to reflect our city?

You will take a lead on developing a more diverse workforce across the Company, and especially to increase female representation. We will look to you to develop and deliver the Women In Construction action plan, providing regular management updates. You will develop a detailed understanding of best practice for enhancing diversity in a constructions environment. Working in close partnership with our Women In Construction network and other employee forums, alongside internal and external departments and stakeholders to plan, develop and deliver meetings, events and awareness-raising campaigns.

With proven project management skills you will bring an understanding of the challenges facing women and other minority groups in the construction industry and at NCH, as well as experience of working in a construction setting. You will have the drive to manage a varied workload under pressure, and the skills to collaborate with people across the organisation to achieve. Ideally you should hold an NVQ4, HNC/HND or equivalent in project management or a similar subject, and the ability to make clear decisions on complex issues, backed up by solid research and analysis.
