Within this role, we will look to you to deliver transformational business projects and programmes, in areas including but not limited to ICT, change management, business process redesign and culture change. In order to do this, you will need strong previous project management experience and a proven track record of delivering projects on budget and in a timely manner. Alongside managing budgets, you will also manage other resources including third-party contractors and consultants as well as liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure projects/programmes are implemented as effectively as possible.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in designing projects and presenting your ideas while keeping sight of the need for quality, security and privacy whilst managing projects. This role will require you to work collaboratively with, sometimes, large numbers of stakeholders; we are therefore looking for someone with excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, including with senior managers and directors.

With a talent for strategic thinking, you will be able to develop operational results as well as strategic planning and be self-motivated, outcome driven and action orientated. A Project Management qualification or an accreditation in Prince 2 is essential as well as a degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or the equivalent work history. This is an involved role and we therefore need someone with experience of working within a fast paced and changing business environment with the organisational agility to work across disparate functions, teams and subject matter.
