REPORTS TO:

Head of Marketing

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Directors, Leadership Team, Executive Chefs, Head Chefs, Kitchen Team, Operations Managers, General Managers, FOH Team, People Team, Finance Team, Marketing Team, Procurement, 3rd Party Suppliers, and External Networks.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To lead and develop a content marketing strategy for our brands in line with company objectives. The role will be responsible for all day to day customer communications including digital and traditional marketing. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the marketing team to pursue these goals and achieve set targets with an emphasis on quality, efficiency and style.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Work with the operations team to develop quarterly sales plans for the business
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategy
  • Lead on social media strategy and support the development of digital content
  • Co-ordinate and the design, installation and maintenance of all relevant external and internal signage
  • Operate within the departmental budget
  • Develop food & drinks menus in co-ordination with the operations team & directors
  • Suggest, develop and implement promotional activity and offers
  • Develop and support events both at a venue level and company-wide
  • Co-ordinate external communications and press releases with our PR team
  • Identify and implement advertising opportunities
  • Co-ordinate the development, upkeep and maintenance of our websites
  • Have a strong role in the development of branding and graphic design
  • Maintain excellent relations with external suppliers as an ambassador for the company
  • Tender physical print jobs
  • Organise and co-ordinate the distribution of physical media to our venues
  • Clearly and concisely brief any and all relevant artworks to design
  • Brief, organise and curate food, drink & people photography
  • Support the people team with external communications in relation to recruitment

SKILLS AND RELEVANT TO THE ROLE:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible worker – able to respond to business-critical situations
  • Passionate about food and drink
  • Commercially aware
  • Prior experience in event management
  • Experience of developing a brand marketing strategy
  • Excellent copy writing skills
  • Team management & delegation experience
  • Ability to manage a complex and ever-changing workflow
  • Basic understanding of restaurant systems
  • Full driving licence would be advantageous
